Pre-register for the “Understanding the Mobile Pyramid” Workshop at 1410Q!

The guys behind the mobile app and mobile website for one of the largest media companies in the D.C. region are hosting a workshop on mobile strategies entitled “Understanding the Mobile Pyramid” at D.C. entrepreneur hotspot 1410Q on April 8, 2010.

Mobile industry leaders Daniel Odio and Jon Arne Saeteras will introduce an industry-leading case study and discuss successful mobile strategies for businesses.

“Mobile is one of the fastest growing areas in marketing strategy,” Odio said, “I’m excited to speak to a group of local professionals about its potential.”

Odio is the cofounder of custom app developer PointAbout Inc., which has made apps for Politico, Burger King and Cars.com. PointAbout recently launched a new DIY app-making service called AppMakr, which allows anyone to build an app for as little as $199. More than 4,100 apps have been built using AppMakr since its launch.

Saeteras is head of product development at Mobiletech, a Norweigan company focused on mobile Web publishing. Mobiletech has created mobile websites for The Washington Post, The Globe and Mail and GE Money.

The workshop is hosted by PointAbout, Mobiletech and 1410Q.

This is a closed RSVP event. Please pre-register and you will be notified once your registration has been approved.

About 1410Q:1410Q is not a networking space.  You can go anywhere to network. 1410Q is a safe environment for technology entrepreneurs to explore what they are capable of, surrounded by other tech entrepreneurs.    Think of it as a little piece of San Francisco, right in the heart of Washington, DC.

1410Q is a place where thought leaders stop in, either by invitation or while they are in town on other business, to have an intimate environment in which to discuss and share topics affecting them.   It is a place where innovation happens and is shared.
